Annette Shaw is an independent teacher of piano in Charlotte, and has received professional certification from both NCMTA and MTNA. She is a member of Music Teachers National Association, NC Music Teachers Association, Charlotte Music Teachers Association, Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum, National Guild of Piano Teachers, and National Federation of Music Clubs. At present she serves as editor for the NC Music Teachers Association Journal (NCMT). She has also served as Chairman of the Junior High State Auditions, State Audition Coordinator and Chairman of the fall Piano Workshops. She is a charter member of Charlotte Music Teachers Association and currently serves as Vice President (Membership) and webmaster. She is Historian for Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum.
