Robin Love is active as an independent piano teacher in Matthews, both state and nationally certified with the Professional Certificate. She is a member of Music Teachers National Association, NC Music Teachers Association, Charlotte Music Teachers Association, National Federation of Music Clubs, National Guild of Piano Teachers and the Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum. She is listed in Who's Who in American Woman.

She is the Past President of the Charlotte Music Teachers Association, Co-ordinator for the David Pinnix Workshop and is presently serving on the Auditions committee of the Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum. She has served as the Chairperson for the North Carolina Music Teachers Association District and State Piano Contest-Festival and Chairperson for the NC Federation of Music Clubs Festival. She was an active church pianist, organist and choir director 1970-1992 and was active in music ministry in Nova Sibirsk 1993.

Robin has her Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Pedagogy from East Carolina University where she studied with Greg Nagode and Charles Bath and additional study with Paul Nitsch at Queens College.
